Pros and Cons of the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5

Over the past few days I've being doing some intensive research on the brand NEW Samsung Galaxy Watch 5, and although it was advertised and marketed well from Samsung, its seem as though customers are having some serious doubts about the new device, so let's jump straight in

On Samsungs website they've marketed 'meet your new sleep coach', while new customers have to wear their new smartwatch for a week before getting any insights.

Samsung says users need to wear the watch to sleep for seven days and then complete a survey about their sleep habits. By tracking your skin temperature over that week, Samsung Health builds a profile of your baseline temperature while you sleep. Then, Samsung can make suggestions to improve your sleep.

The new BIO Active sensor is meant to single unique chip that combines three powerful health sensors — Optical Heart Rate, Electrical Heart Signal and Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis — to deliver extensive readings that include heart rate, blood oxygen level and even stress level.
Let's talk about the battery life.

Users found that it would take up to 2 hours to completely charge and if they left everything on (including always on display) the watch would only last around 20 hours, so you still need to charge the watch daily - but then you're meant to track your sleep, hold up? I'm really confused now Samsung.

Consumers did say that charging for 30 minutes would charge the watch 30% more.

Now the new watch comes in two sizes, 40mm or 45mm.
You can also have the option of buying the watch with Bluetooth only or LTE.
In regards to design, it looks very similar to the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 with very slight changes that you can barely notice. And a few different colours available.
There's talk about the new infrared temperature sensor on the Galaxy Watch 5, what does that mean?

Well, temperature monitoring could help with recovery after exercise, or even detect the onset of an illness. The latter feature, of course, could be a sticking point with government health regulators, however, this new sensor is not currently on the newest Galaxy Watch 5 that as just released, Samsung said said it will be a benefit 'in the future'.

So what will the skin temperature sensor actually do? According to Samsung, skin temperature readings will be factored into sleep insights. Here's the statement Samsung provided me with regarding the functionality: 

Our holistic wellness approach emphasizes the importance of restful sleep. The addition of a skin temperature sensor will now allow users to monitor their health in even greater detail for more insights each night. Additionally, under our open collaboration philosophy, we’re always looking for ways to partner with third parties so users can get a better look at their wellness.

From what we've learned about skin temperature sensors on other wearables such as the Fitbit Sense, rather than telling you your temperature like a thermometer you use to see if you're running a fever, a skin temperature instead detects changes in trends. For example, if your skin temperature strays from your baseline one night, it could indicate other irregularities in your daily health.
